Bismarck Adds Forward to List of Signees
Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have tendered forward Charlie Strobel, adding to their forward depth.
“I bring a hard-nosed game,” Strobel said. “I love to hit and play the body, but I also got a little bit of skill.”
Strobel, 18, is entering his third season with Hill-Murray High School. The forward has 42 points in 37 games with the Pioneers.
“Charlie is a bit of a throwback player with good speed, elite toughness, and the unique ability to score every game,” said Bobcats scout Niko Kapetanovic. “One of those players you hate to play against but love to have on your team!”
Strobel has also spent time with Team Northeast in the UMHSEHL this season, collecting 17 points in 18 games.
“I love the game,” Strobel said. “I love to win. Whatever is best for the team. To win a championship is my goal. Whatever they want me to do, I’ll do it to the best of my ability.”
