Bobcats Host Minot Wednesday

Nov 25, 2013

BISMARCK, ND–The Bismarck Bobcats try for six points this week starting Wednesday,
when they host the Minot Minotauros at the VFW Sports Center.

Despite being laden with defensive injury, the Bobcats earned a split with Aberdeen
last weekend, taking the Saturday contest 4-2.  The split worked Bismarck back within
two points of the second-place Wings in the NAHL Central Division standings.

Saturday’s win also moved the Bobcats back within seven points of first-place Austin,
and, with Austin making it’s first trip to Bismarck this year on Friday and Saturday, the
week becomes one of opportunity for the Bobcats.

Minot is the first opponent, with a Wednesday night tilt.  The Bobcats feel like they owe
the Minotauros after dropping two multi-goal leads in Minot two Saturdays ago,
eventually losing the game 6-4.  Bismarck allowed four straight goals to lose a 4-2
lead.

Colton Kramer, acquired in a trade with the Minnesota Wilderness, has scored five goals
in nine games with the Minotauros.  Minot swept the Minnesota Magicians this past
weekend, and have won three straight.  They are seven points back of the Bobcats
for third place.

Cullen Willox (Eagen, MN) has scored a point a game in the last nine games, including
five goals, sparking an early surge to his rookie year.  Nate Repensky (Duluth, MN) leads
the Bobcats with 25 points, 11 in the last nine games.

Faceoff is set for Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.  Pregame coverage begin at 6:50 p.m on Supertalk 1270 KLXX.
