Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats will host the Aberdeen Wings in a two-game series Friday and Saturday at the VFW Sports Center. Puckdrop is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. both nights.
The Bobcats (7-6-0) look to repeat their success after winning 2 of 3 games last weekend. Bismarck beat Minot on Thursday, then split in a competitive set with Austin at home on Friday and Saturday. The Bobcats currently hold 4th place in the central division standings with 14 points.
Aberdeen (6-5-3) is coming off a 1-1 weekend at North Iowa. The Wings took Friday night’s series opener 7-2, but fell on Saturday 3-2. Aberdeen enters the weekend at third place in the central division standings with 15 points.
The Bobcats and Wings met in Aberdeen on September 22 and 23 to open the season series. Bismarck won both games.
Saturday night at the VFW is Oktoberfest presented by Jerome’s Distributing. Coors Lights are buy one get one free from 6:30 pm until puck drop. Trunk or Treat and a Halloween costume contest will also take place Saturday.
