BISMARCK, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have signed forward Drew Roelofs to a tender agreement for the 2024-25 season.
Drew, the younger brother of current Bobcat captain Luke Roelofs, has tallied 18 points in 20 games this year for Team TDS Transportation in the UMHSEHL. The Minnetrista, Minnesota, native appeared in four games last season with Bismarck.
“Drew played for us last year as an affiliate player and knows our program well with his brother being captain of the Bobcats,” Bismarck Assistant General Manager Niko Kapetanovic said. “He is a 200-foot forward with his best hockey yet to come.”
Drew, an ‘06 born player, is committed to Division I St. Thomas. In a 50-game career over the past 3 seasons at Holy Family Catholic High School in Minnesota, Roelofs has produced 14 goals and 20 assists, totaling 34 points.
“Drew has great size, skates well, has a great stick and an elite brain,” Kapetanovic said. “He is committed to a very good program that will make more noise every year. We are lucky to have the person, the player, and the competitor Drew is.”
Tender agreements are contracts handing a North American Hockey League team rights to a player for the upcoming season. If Roelofs decides to play in the NAHL, he would join Bismarck.
