This past week, voice of the Bobcats, Brandon Luisi, caught up with former Bobcat Forward Nick Miglio.

Miglio appeared in 101 games for Bismarck where he tallied 18 goals and 24 assists for a total of 42 points over the course of 2010-2012. He reminisced about his junior career with the Bobcats and cherished the times he had in Bismarck. “I loved it. That was my first taste of junior hockey. Great fans, great arena, very loud, we had some memorable games, and we were a good team. We were in the Robertson Cup finals both years that I was there, it was a blast!” Miglio said.

Following his junior career, Miglio has had an illustrious pro career, playing in the SPHL, ECHL, and the 2nd and 3rd flights of pro hockey in Germany. Miglio, talked about what it’s been like traveling the States and world playing the sport he loves. “It’s a dream come true. It’s what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little kid. My dad played professional baseball, so since I was a young kid and I knew that this was a reality, and knowing what pro sports was, that’s what I wanted to do,” Miglio mentioned.

Miglio finished out his interview with a message back to the fans of Bismarck. “I loved my time there. It was a great group of people. We had supportive fans, all the billet families, all the staff, everyone around. It was a great area, and a great part of the country. A piece of my heart lives there forever,” Miglio added.
