North Dakota Native Signs with Bismarck
Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have tendered forward Blaise Miller.
“Blaise is someone we’ve had on our radar for a long time,” said Niko Kapetanovic, the Bobcats director of scouting. “He is an extremely high character kid who plays with a relentless compete level, which shows as he’s a beast in the corners.”
Miller, 17, has posted 27 points in 21 combined games for Northstar Christian Academy at the 18U level this year. The Minot, North Dakota native previously played for Grand Forks Central High School, where he had 23 points in 26 games last season.
“There are not many times Blaise doesn’t come out of a one-on-one battle without the puck,” Kapetanovic said. “He’s a good skating forward with a nose for the net. The Central Division will not enjoy playing against Blaise.”
Miller is the fifth forward in Bismarck’s current tender signing class, joining Henry Bartle, Chris Kernan, Calvin Hanson and Adam Pietila.
