Defenseman Ollie Chessler Set to Play in 100th Career NAHL Game This Saturday

Mar 12, 2025

Bobcat defenseman Ollie Chessler is hitting the century mark in games played in his NAHL career. Chessler joined the Bobcats before the trade deadline along with fellow Oklahoma Warriors teammate Louie Kamienski. Throughout his 98 games played he’s notched 4 goals and added on 29 assists for a total of 33 points. Chessler mentioned his excitement to reach the milestone with this group and how he’s enjoyed his time so far with the Bobcats. “It’s really exciting, especially with this group. Just being able to play for Coach Roth again and to reach it, playing a lot of my games in the NAHL under him, it’s quite the honor, and with this group of guys, it’s a special group,” Chessler said.

Chessler brings a spark to the Bobcat bench and locker room. His undeniable physicality and willingness to stand up to anyone to defend his teammates is a defining quality of his, that shows how much character and pride he brings to the team. “I think it is a big part of my game, playing on the physical side, being a two-way defenseman, and obviously sticking up for my teammates when needed, so yeah I definitely think it’s a big part of my game,” Chessler mentioned.
