BISMARCK, ND–Bismarck Bobcats forward Tyler Dunagan (Maple Grove, MN) has earned the NAHL Central Division Easton Star of the Week award for his play last weekend.
Dunagan assisted on four goals last weekend, aiding the Bobcats to a split. He assisted on the first goal in a 4-3 (SO) loss to Aberdeen Friday, then tallied three helpers in a 7-2 rout of Brookings Saturday.
The effort moved Dunagan back into the top five Bobcats in scoring, now with 25 points on the season. He is one of ten Bobcats with 20 points or more this season, after scoring 22 goals and recording 37 points with Jamestown last season.
“Tyler has been a nice addition for us. We know he is talented offensive player with a lot of skill,” said Bobcats head coach Layne Sedevie. “He is really starting to produce offensive and when he is clicking, we are a much better team because of it.”
Bobcat forward Jacob McDowell was an honorable mention for the award. He registered a goal against Aberdeen, and a goal and assist in the matchup with Brookings.
The Bobcats host Brookings Thursday and Friday, then travel to Minot Sunday. Tickets are still available at 222-3300 or online at www.bismarckbobcats.com.
