The Bismarck Bobcats fell to 0-4-2 on the 2009-2010 season as the Alaska Avalanche rattled off two third period goals to topple the Bobcats 4-2 at the VFW Sports Center Saturday.

The Bismarck Bobcats raised their 2008-2009 Central Division championship banner on Coors Light Opening Night at the VFW Sports Center but it was the visiting Alaska Avalanche who got the last laugh, riding a three-goal first period to a 5-2 win over the Bobcats Friday.

The Bismarck Bobcats will open their home schedule on Friday with Coors Light Opening Night as the Bobcats host the Alaska Avalanche for a 7:15 PM contest at the VFW Sports Center.
