BISMARCK, ND – Bismarck Bobcats defenseman Matthew Rafalski has announced his commitment to Lindenwood University.
Lindenwood, a Division I program, is located in St. Charles, Missouri.
“Matt has been a great addition to our defensive core,” Bobcats head coach Layne Sedevie said. “He brings the ability to break pucks out with his feet and has a really good skill set to help out offensively as well.”
Rafalski’s 7 points this season are most among Bobcat defenseman. The Waupaca, Wisconsin native is spending his first year in Bismarck.
Rafalski becomes the sixth current member of Bismarck’s roster to make a Division I commitment. Patrick Johnson (Robert Morris) announced his plans to compete at the highest collegiate level last week. Evan Hunter (Bemidji State), Jakub Kopecky (St. Lawrence), Stephen Peck (Michigan), and Landon Fandel (Northern Michigan) have previously announced their commitments.
With an enrollment of approximately 7,000 students, Lindenwood’s campus is 24 miles northwest of St. Louis. The school was founded in 1832.
